Ever since Cody Rhodes left AEW there have been continuous talks about the wrestling star coming back to WWE. Many reports since his exit have also supported the belief that most fans had about his return. Not to mention that Cody was also spotted in Orlando, reportedly preparing for his return to WWE. Pat McAfee isn’t a fan of that idea.
On the very recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show, McAfee made references to Cody Rhodes. He dragged the American Nightmare for coming back to WWE after starting AEW, which he called a terrible company.
“I guess Cody Rhodes is coming to WWE. I guess, who cares? Him and his little friends started something, it was terrible. We actually went head to head with them on Wednesdays. We beat them a couple of different times. Who cares? The hell with Cody Rhodes.”
Then Pat said he’s actually “pumped” about Cody coming to back WWE, but only if he comes to SmackDown.
“If he’s coming to SmackDown, I’m excited about it,” McAffe said
McAffe jokes again that Cody should be put into Stardust gimmick. We’ll have to see about that, because Vince McMahon still owns the trademark.
As we previously reported, several hints about Cody’s return to the WWE were dropped on Raw, including Edge and Miz also chiming in on the subject.
