Damian Priest had a solid run in NXT and had a good fan following as well. He also won the NXT North American Championship and competed in memorable matches during his time there. It seems he has achieved a new milestone as well.

Priest was called up to the main roster during last year’s Royal Rumble match, where he had an excellent performance. After that, he partnered up with Bad Bunny for the past few months, which culminated.

He would eventually go on to win the United States Championship and has successfully defended it against several noteworthy opponents. After Priest retained his title against Shelton Benjamin on Monday Night RAW this week, Priest officially became the longest-reigning United States Champion of the brand-split era.

Damian Priest has been the champion for 186 days, the longest reign since Dean Ambrose/Jon Moxley’s 351-day title run from May 2013 to April 2014. Priest has beaten the likes of AJ Styles, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, Kevin Owens, Robert Roode, Sami Zayn, Jinder Mahal, Jeff Hardy and Apollo Crews.

Finn Balor also confronted him for a title shot on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. We will have to wait and see whether Balor will end up defeating Damian Priest for the title or not.
