WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle has not returned to pro wrestling since his release, but that didn’t stop WWE from offering him a role. He is certainly one of the best pro wrestlers to have ever graced the squared circle. He had a tremendous career in WWE, spanning multiple World Title runs and incredible matches.

He faced off against the best of the best the pro wrestling world has to offer. This includes The Undertaker, against whom he had one of the best feuds in WWE history. The Undertaker was also an imposing figure in the company and Angle is more than aware of that fact during the ‘Plane Ride From Hell.’

Angle squared off against The Undertaker in an instant classic match at No Way Out in 2006. While speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, Angle talked about the aforementioned match and stated that he gave The Undertaker one of the best matches of his career.

“We had that textbook wrestling match. This match at No Way Out really did have all the ingredients in it to be a perfect match. There was a lot of wrestling, a lot of submission tradeoffs, a lot of false finishes. The match told an incredible story. I can genuinely say that it was one of the best matches of my career, one of the best matches of The Undertaker’s career. I can pretty much guarantee The Undertaker will admit that. We wanted this match at WrestleMania, but unfortunately, we didn’t get it.”

Kurt Angle has been enjoying his life in retirement after WrestleMania 35. We certainly wonder if he will make his return to pro wrestling one way or the other.
