John Cena is a 16-time World Champion and carried the company on his back throughout the PG era. Since 2017, John Cena became a part-timer in WWE and has appeared sporadically due to his busy schedule in Hollywood.

When Cena started his career in WWE back in 2002, his character was viewed as a very uninspiring babyface with no personality. It wasn’t until he introduced his Dr. Of Thuganomics gimmick that Cena became a star in the company.

While Speaking on his Cafe de Rene podcast, former WWE Superstar Rene Dupree talked about having a legitimate brawl with John Cena on the April 29, 2004 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

“I remember we were being told by Fit Finlay and the other agents that the physicality between me and John Cena afterwards when he made the save had to look real. And let me tell you, it was as real as it can be. I busted his eyebrow open, he was bleeding, and he busted my lip, and I think I had a bruise somewhere on my face. Those were live rounds.”

We will have to wait and see when John Cena will return to the company as fans will always be glad to see the Leader of Cenation back in any capacity.
