AJ Styles has been considered as one of the best pro wrestlers by both fans and wrestlers alike and it is not hard to understand why. Styles continues to work at a high level despite growing older and continues to amaze fans. It seems Styles made an interesting claim about Triple H as well.

Since his appearance in the 2016 Royal Rumble, AJ Styles competed in top feuds against the likes of Randy Orton, John Cena and numerous other stars. His journey to WWE was certainly a long and arduous one.

While speaking to Ariel Helwani on BT Sport, the Phenomenal One claimed that while trying to join WWE, he never heard back from Triple H who was supposed to call him about working in the company.

“They had Daniel Bryan at the time, so why would they need AJ Styles? And I was honestly fine with that. When I was trying to talk to Triple H for the first time, he was supposed to call me after talking to Terry Taylor, who eventually got me to join WWE. I just told him, ‘Hey man, if there’s an opportunity then I’d like to have it.’ Then Triple H was supposed to call me. He didn’t. That’s OK. I just assumed they had all the talent they needed.

AJ Styles also recently revealed how he managed to convince Vince McMahon that he was a start. Needless to say, AJ Styles has been a huge asset to WWE and will continue to be one for a long time.
