Roman Reigns Joins Exclusive Club After WWE Elimination Chamber Win

Roman Reigns’ stock continues to rise by the day since his return to the company back at WWE SummerSlam in 2020. He returned as the Tribal Chief and truly reinvented himself. The change was several years in the making as fans wanted it for so long. 

The Head of the Table has certainly been very dominant as the WWE Universal Champion as he has remained the champion for well over a year now. It is unlikely he will be losing the title anytime soon from the looks of it. He has competed against several top WWE Superstars throughout that time.

Goldberg challenged Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at the Elimination Chamber event in Saudi Arabia on February 19th. After an intense match where both competitors gave it their all, it was the Tribal Chief who stood tall after he made Goldberg pass out to his guillotine choke.

WWE On BT Sport took to their Twitter account and revealed that Roman Reigns has joined a very exclusive club as one of the few WWE Superstars to ever pin Goldberg clean. He has joined the list of Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, Drew McIntyre. and Braun Strowman, all of whom have defeated Goldberg.

Roman Reigns is set to compete against Brock Lesnar in a winner take all match at WrestleMania 38. It remains to be seen who will end up becoming both the WWE and Universal Champion at WrestleMania 38.
