WWE released several employees including WWE Superstars over the past couple of years. This started with the release of Superstars such as Chelsea Green and Mickie James. Lana and Miro were a part of those cuts eventually as well.

Back in June of last year, WWE held yet another round of cuts from the company and it featured several big names such as Braun Strowman and Lana. She was let go due to her lucrative contract with WWE, which Lana signed back in 2019.

For the majority of her time in WWE, Lana had been managing her real-life husband, Miro. Lana also accused WWE of making men feel more important than women.

Since her release, Lana has been engaged in a variety of projects and kept herself busy in numerous ways. Lana is also set to act in a film titled WifeLike, which will release this year. She took to her Instagram and uploaded a reel, showing off a couple of stunning outfits while asking fans who her character Holly is.

WWE also expected Lana to appear during the Women’s Royal Rumble match until the last minute. Miro already commented on Lana possibly joining AEW, as he noted that it is ultimately her decision. It might still be a while until fans get to see Lana with Miro in AEW from the looks of it.
