Tony Khan Almost In Tears After Dynamite Went Off Air

There is no doubt that Cody Rhodes helped out AEW significantly, both inside the squared circle and backstage as well. He was the EVP of the company and had numerous responsibilities and he did them well. It seems Tony Khan got very emotional recently as well.

In a shocking turn of events, AEW officially announced that Cody and his wife Brandi Rhodes have parted ways with the company. This sent shockwaves throughout the professional wrestling world.

As seen in a video posted by a fan, after AEW Dynamite went off the air this week, Tony Khan joined Best Friends in the ring. Khan then took a microphone and said that he had a “hell of a week” and that he could use a “big hug.”

Khan was almost in tears during the segment. The Best Friends then hugged him in the ring. Khan and Rhodes also won’t reveal details about Rhodes’ departure from AEW as well.
