Lance Archer is certainly one of the mainstays of AEW television and a true veteran in the pro wrestling world. His imposing figure and intensity have made him a top star in the company. It seems a pro wrestling legend had some interesting advice for Lance Archer as well.
Prior to signing with AEW, Lance Archer largely worked in NJPW and competed in some memorable matches. He would sign with AEW back in February of 2020 and since then became one of the mainstays of the company.
Archer came back from a near-fatal neck injury and was immediately involved in a feud with Adam Page. He challenged Page for the AEW World Championship on AEW Dynamite last week in a Texas Deathmatch. In the end, Archer was unable to defeat Page for the title.
While speaking on the Keepin It 100 podcast, Konnan stated that he believes Lance Archer should leave AEW and go to WWE, after Archer suffered numerous losses in big matches.
“I really do believe that Lance Archer can be salvaged, but I don’t see it with so much talent. If I were him, I would just go to WWE and get repackaged. Got a good size, good look, and he can go.”
It is to be noted that Lance Archer used to work in WWE during the early 2010s, where he was known as Vance Archer. It remains to be seen whether Archer will end up joining WWE again in the future.
