Seth Rollins’ time in promotions such as Ring Of Honor certainly helped him hone his craft before making his way to WWE. Rollins’ current obnoxious heel character never fails to annoy fans. On top of that, Rollins really doesn’t do scripted promos as such, just like Roman Reigns.
The Messiah of Drip made his way to Monday Night RAW in October and has been a thorn on everyone’s side since then. The Messiah is also quite outspoken as he lets everyone know what he thinks.
Seth Rollins has squared off against numerous top talents during his time in the company, this includes Kevin Owens. While speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Seth Rollins revealed that he thought he broke every bone in his body during a previous match with Kevin Owens.
“I wrestled on the independents for years in front of nobody, in front of absolutely nobody. So when it came back to, you know, COVID times and we’re in this empty warehouse and it’s a stale environment. The falling down hurt way worse. No question about it. Kevin Owens came off the WrestleMania sign, put his elbow right into the side of my ribs, I thought I broke every rib in my body. I was, yeah, I was done. Thankfully, that was the end of the match.
But, what did help me was knowing that no one was there, I have been accustomed to that for half my career at that point so I was able to figure out, talk it on the fly. Like I was just able to get into that mindset, I think a lot better than maybe some other people. And Kevin’s the same way, Kevin Owens came from the same place that I did.”
Rollins will face Brock Lesnar, AJ Styles, Austin Theory and Matt Riddle as they all compete for Bobby Lashley’s WWE Championship on February 19th at the WWE Elimination Chamber event in Saudi Arabia. We will have to wait and see whether Rollins will end up winning the match or not.
