Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin Try To Recruit Omos Into The Hurt Business

Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin felt the wrath of the giant Omos on last night’s Raw. The team was defeated in short order by AJ Styles’ former muscle. In an odd twist, Cedric and Shelton were introduced as The Hurt Business.

Bobby Lashley and MVP dissolved the stable months ago. There was never a real explanation for why Alexander and Benjamin used the name. The two were even kicked out and told no when they tried to re-join.

In a WWE Digital Exclusive taped before Raw, the reason for the handicap match was explained. Cedric and Shelton attempted to recruit Omos into The Hurt Business during the backstage vignette. Omos had no interest.

“I have a counter-offer. How about tonight, I obliterate you? Both of you. Pleasure doing business.”

It remains to be seen what WWE plans to do with The Hurt Business. It doesn’t seem like Omos will become the next member. Lashley and MVP currently have bigger fish to fry.

Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin could continue to try and find recruits for a reborn Hurt Business. The WWE Universe will have to stay tuned to see where the story goes. An explanation would be a wonderful starting point.
