Eric Bischoff returned to WWE Monday Night RAW in late December of last year; that’s not too long ago. He was available for Miz and Maryse’s wedding ceremony.
On the recent episode of the “83 weeks” podcast, Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff revealed he is going to have minor surgery done on his finger. It appears his injury is called “Dupuytren’s Contracture.”
Bischoff elaborates how he is enable to extend his finger, Dupuytren’s Contracture is something where growth tissue forms on the tendon that control fingers.
“I can’t extend my finger,” Bischoff said. “This other one is getting the same thing. It’s called Dupuytren’s Contracture. What it is, is on the inside of my hand is a growth of tissue that forms on the tendon that controls your fingers. I had it on this hand. I had it operated on and you can see the scars. It’s common.”
Bischoff further detailed the surgery;
“They’re going to go in, open that up, and cut that growth off the tendons so that I can put my hands in a glove because right now it’s so bad, I can’t put a glove on. I’ve been putting this off. I should have done this a year and a half ago to be honest. I put it off and put it off and it wasn’t a problem. Now all of a sudden it’s wintertime and I can’t put my hand in a glove and I’m like, ‘F*ck that. I’m going to go in and have it cut out.’
Later in the podcast, Bischoff watched WCW Monday Nitro’s 2/17/97 episode. The topics he talked about were The Outsiders’ road trip with “Syxx” Sean Waltman and his camcorder, he even talked about Chris Jericho vs. Jeff Jarrett in the main event, Randy Anderson vs. Nick Patrick, and Eddie Guerrero vs. Konnan for the United States Title.
We wish nothing but speedy recovery to Eric. What do you think of Eric’s WWE return? also, stay tuned to stay updated.
