Sasha Banks is certainly one of the most decorated and talented female WWE Superstars over the last few years. Banks has engaged in several classic matches over the years and fans can always count on her for a great performance. It seems she opened up about making her way to WWE from the independent circuit.
Sasha Banks made a name for herself in NXT during her early years in WWE, where she squared off against the likes of Bayley and had tremendous matches there as well.
While speaking with Mark Andrews of My Love Letter to Wrestling podcast, Sasha Banks talked about making her way to NXT after working in the independent circuit. Banks stated that it was a whole different ball game.
“It was so hard because I came in like, ‘I know how to wrestle.’ Then I got slapped in the face and I said, ‘No you don’t. Not WWE style.’ There is so much more to it. You have the red light looking at you. You have people on the floor going, ‘Go, go, go.’ It’s so much coming from the independent scene where it was like, ‘Do whatever.’ There was no psychology. No time cues. When you come to WWE, it’s a whole different ball game going from the independents to NXT. That was a whole different level as well, but WWE RAW/SmackDown, there’s no comparison.”
Sasha Banks is also certain she will square off against Mickie James in the future. We will have to wait and see whether that will happen or not in the end.
