Vince McMahon made the call to send his son, Shane McMahon, home after he was a nightmare to deal with during Royal Rumble planning. Ringside News was first to exclusively report that huge story. This also meant that Shane-O Mac lost his Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania spots. That being said, WWE didn’t waste time filling his slot.
A report came out yesterday that said WWE is trying hard to find an attraction to replace Shane McMahon. It was said that the company needed a name that could fill in for Shane’s empty slot.
Ringside News asked around about this report and we were told that the decision about Shane McMahon’s replacement is “already decided.” In fact, we have learned that this was “decided as soon as the decision was made to send Shane home.”
WWE scrambling to change their plans in a pinch is always a juicy story. As it turns out, that is not the case this time around. Shane McMahon was sent home and that nixed Mania plans, but the company is not on the search for his replacement for the show of shows.
We have been told that many things are being discussed for WrestleMania at this time, because the card is subject to change. Shane McMahon’s replacement is not one of the things that the company is still batting around.
Keep checking back with Ringside News for more information about this ongoing situation.
