Tony Khan has built up a ton of hype around tonight’s AEW Dynamite. A Texas Death Match for the AEW World Championship wasn’t enough. Khan has also promised a major signing will debut on the show.
Khan said that he’s trying to please as many fans as possible. Tony doesn’t want to leave people disappointed like other wrestling organizations have in the past. There is also a major possibility for more ex-WWE wrestlers to join AEW in the future.
Tony discussed the plans in an interview with PW Insider. The AEW owner said if fans aren’t pleased by the signing tonight, there will be more on the way. Khan declared that tonight’s surprise doesn’t limit future ones in any way.
” Like I said, I have opened the forbidden door and I don’t want to say exactly what’s going to happen or when it’s going to happen, but it’s going to be an eventful night. And I hope that people get their expectations met. And frankly, I’ve seen a lot of other speculations and there’s a lot of great names out there. And anything we do on this particular Wednesday night Dynamite, it doesn’t limit us in the future from finding some of these other people.”
There are plenty of great options available. Several former WWE stars recently became free agents. Some of the more well-known names being tossed around are Keith Lee, Jay White, Killer Kross, Samoa Joe, and Bray Wyatt. There’s no shortage of big-name free agents in wrestling.
AEW fans will have to tune in to Dynamite tonight to see who shows up. Tony Khan has promised a satisfying surprise. There should be something for everyone on the show, which airs at 8 PM on TBS.
