Many fans would agree that Jeff Hardy is truly one of the most beloved professional wrestlers in WWE’s history. Hardy made a career out of performing death-defying stunts for the entertainment of fans and it helped him win numerous titles as well. It seems Matt Hardy hinted at something interesting recently as well.
WWE would release the Charismatic Enigma last year, much to the shock of fans and professional wrestlers alike. Jeff Hardy even turned down rehab prior to his firing.
Jeff Hardy even rejected an offer to get inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame a few weeks ago as he wanted a Hall Of Fame induction for The Hardy Boyz. While speaking on his Twitch stream, Matt Hardy stated that he doubts Jeff will be appearing on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
This is because his non-compete clause doesn’t run out until March. However, Hardy then hinted that Tony Khan might just buy out Jeff’s contract to speed up the process.
“I don’t think he’s the guy coming in this Wednesday in AEW against Isiah Kassidy. Although, who knows? Tony Khan, Papa Khan has a lot of money. Maybe he bought him out of his contract and he is coming in early. Who knows? The final of the 90 days was supposed to be on March 9. March 10 he’s a free agent.”
Isiah Kassidy also hinted at Jeff Hardy debuting on AEW Dynamite this week. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Jeff Hardy’s professional wrestling career and if that includes AEW or not.
