Bobby Lashely Wants A Rematch With John Cena

John Cena is a 16-time World Champion and carried the company on his back throughout the PG era. From 2017 John Cena became a part-timer in WWE and has appeared sporadically due to his busy schedule in Hollywood. It seems Bobby Lashley wants a piece of him again.

Back in 2007, John Cena was the WWE Champion for a very long time and feuded with the top stars in the company back then. This included the likes of Bobby Lashley as well as the two faced off at the Great American Bash 2007, where Cena defeated Lashley.

While speaking with Graham Matthews of Wrestle Rant for Bleacher Report, Bobby Lashley revealed that he wants a rematch with the Leader of Cenation in the future.

Cena’s always one of those guys where come WrestleMania time, he’s out in his gym doing those 800-pound squats getting ready for it, I know he is. I know he’s doing a lot of stuff with the movies and everything like that, but I know he’s training and looking over the roster and saying, ‘Who can I go over there and do something with?’

I hope my name is on his list because of course I’d like [to face] him, also. On the same token, I never want to take away from the current roster, the people who are out there banging every week and doing the live events.”

It remains to be seen when John Cena will be making his return to WWE television and whether he will end up feuding with The Almighty somewhere down the line as well.
