The Miz is definitely one of the most popular and decorated WWE Superstars in the history of the company. On top of winning several championships in the company, the Miz also has his own reality show and acted in movies. It seems AJ Styles has a high opinion of The Miz as well.
The A-Lister has also main evented WrestleMania once in his career. The Miz had a very rocky start to his WWE career and many believed he would get fired soon enough. However, he persevered and became one of the mainstays of the company.
The Miz is also considered as one of the best heels in professional wrestling history and it is not hard to understand why. While speaking on the out of character podcast with Ryan Satin, AJ Styles said that The Miz is the best heel in the business right now and that The Miz is a much better heel than him.
“To me, there’s no one who understands what a heel’s supposed to be like [better] than The Miz. That’s what I wanted to be. I’m just not as good as him. That’s what I wanna be, and that’s what heels should wanna be, they should not wanna be liked. They should wanna be spit on and all this stuff.” Styles added: “That’s what we should strive for because with that emotion that you bring as a heel, [it] just makes whoever you’re working that much better. When you got a heel and you got a babyface, it’s easy. When you got a great storyline, it’s easy, everything’s gonna work out.”
The Miz recently started a feud with Dominik Mysterio on Monday Night RAW, so it remains to be seen how the feud will progress in the coming weeks.
