Tama Tonga is one of the most decorated tag team wrestlers never to sign with a major United States wrestling company. As one half of the Guerrillas of Destiny with Tanga Loa, the Bullet Club fixture won the IWGP Tag titles seven times. The team has been spotted in Impact Wrestling lately along with fellow Bullet Club member Jay White.

The Guerrillas are set to challenge The Good Brothers for the Impact World Tag Team Championship at the No Surrender pay-per-view later this month. Tama Tonga is hoping to show up anywhere that will have him. Tonga recently tweeted that he was a free agent and was hoping to hear from Tony Khan.

“I am a free agent since January 30, 2022 #misinformation”

“Hey @TonyKhan wanna burn bridges? I love burning bridges. #F*ckAForbidenDoor”

AEW fans have been speculating about Tony Khan’s major free agent surprise. Khan has said the new signing will slam the forbidden door shut after walking through. Tama Tonga would love that opportunity.

For now, all signs point to Keith Lee popping up in AEW. There have also been rumors that Bullet Club leader Jay White could be on his way. We’ll have to wait and see which NJPW stars, if any, turn up in AEW.
