Many fans would agree that Jeff Hardy is truly one of the most beloved professional wrestlers in WWE’s history. Hardy made a career out of performing death-defying stunts for the entertainment of fans and it helped him win numerous titles as well. It seems the real reason behind Jeff Hardy rejecting a Hall Of Fame induction has been revealed.

WWE would release the Charismatic Enigma last year, much to the shock of fans and professional wrestlers alike. Jeff Hardy even turned down rehab prior to his firing.

Jeff Hardy even rejected an offer to get inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame a few weeks ago and had difficulty getting back results from his drug, which turned out to be negative.

While speaking on his latest Twitch stream, Matt said that Jeff Hardy rejected WWE offering him a Hall Of Fame induction as he didn’t want to be inducted into the Hall of Fame without his brother Matt.

“Jeff asked ‘so you want to induct me into the Hall of Fame?’ And he said ‘well let me ask you, I know you guys have spoken with AEW. Is this going to be the Hardy Boyz? Is this myself and my brother Matt?’ And they go ‘oh, no no, no, no. We can’t get Matt. He’s under contract at AEW. You know, it would just be you.’ And Jeff said ‘well, that’s a hard no.’ He definitely stood up for the team of the Hardy Boyz.”

Tony Khan recently announced that a top free agent will be making their debut on AEW Dynamite this week, which made fans wonder whether Jeff Hardy will debut or not. We will have to wait and see what the future holds for Jeff Hardy.
