Chad Gable Won First Singles Match In 2 Years During WWE RAW This Week

Chad Gable and Otis’ team racked up a RAW Tag Team Title victory, but that was not a singles win. Gable broke a long streak on RAW this week.

On last night’s RAW, RAW Tag Team Champion Chad Gable pinned Angelo Dawkins. Alpha Academy won against The Street Profits in this match. Gable won his first televised pinfall victory since the former “Shorty G” defeated Mojo Rawley on the SmackDown tapings on June 15, 2020.

Gable did pin Riddle at two WWE live events last month, but this was his first televised pinfall win in nearly two years. This includes Gable’s appearances on the SmackDown brand in singles and tag matches. Otis has scored all of Alpha Academy’s televised pinfall victories since the team’s inception in late 2020.

He also pinned Randy Orton in the title change match on RAW last month. Chad Gable received a lot of praise on social media for his performance in the Quiz Bowl that kicked off RAW, as seen in the tweets below, and RK-Bro would eventually win the Academic Challenge to secure a future title shot against Gable & Otis.

The RAW Tag Team Titles are expected to be defended by Alpha Academy. It will be against RKBro at the upcoming Elimination Chamber event. Fans are really excited about this match.
