WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg is a legend in the pro wrestling business, especially making a name for himself during WCW. Goldberg previously admitted that he regretted not appreciating pro wrestling in the past. It seems Bully Ray has a very interesting take on Goldberg’s upcoming match as well.
Goldberg was absent from WWE television since his match against Bobby Lashley at WWE Crown Jewel in October last year. However, the legend made his return to WWE television and confronted Roman Reigns on last week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown.
Goldberg made it clear he wanted a shot at Roman Reigns’ WWE Universal Championship. While speaking on the Busted Open podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Bully Ray stated that he believes Goldberg should defeat Roman Reigns at WWE Elimination Chamber as the result seems obvious to fans right now.
“I honestly believe this is the perfect opportunity for the WWE to stir a lot of s*** up and throw a huge monkey wrench into it. Personally, I would have Goldberg come back and beat Roman in Saudi and immediately do a rematch on SmackDown the following Friday night and put it back on Roman. This would get genuine reactions and actually get people talking. It would be different and it would be the exact opposite of what it is right now, which is extremely predictable.
Have Goldberg beat Roman on Saturday and on the 25th at SmackDown put the championship right back on him. That’s six days of people talking about Goldberg as the new champion. Shake it up a little bit.”
Fans were also outraged after Goldberg came back. We will have to wait and see how his match against Roman Reigns will turn out to be on February 19th in Saudi Arabia at the WWE Elimination Chamber event.
