WWE2K22 has been seeing a lot of hype in recent weeks. The most recent main release in the series was the bug-ridden WWE2K20. 2K Games and WWE put a pause on development and went back to square one. Fans and gamers alike are looking forward to a much-improved offering this time around.
A recent launch trailer teased some gameplay. More footage eventually came out. Not everyone is sold, but so far, the reception has been mostly positive.
A new trailer was released today that showed several exciting WWE legends that will be playable in the game. Booker T, Big Boss Man, China, and Randy “Macho Man” Savage will all be on the roster. 2K also announced several other wrestlers that will be available out of the box.
Eddie Guerrero was not shown in the new legends trailer but was listed on a roster posted to Fightful. Other former WWE greats include the nWo (Hollywood Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Syxx) which can be purchased as part of a special 4-Life edition of the game. The Rock is also on that same roster.
All the major WWE superstars of today will also be included in the game. Fans will have a chance to create some dream matches with the inclusion of these legends. There may be more available at a later time as downloadable content.
WWE2K22 comes out on March 11, 2022. Gamers who pre-ordered will get early access starting on the 8th. Everybody is hoping 2K games hit it out of the park after some questionable releases in the past.
