AEW Dynamite made its debut in October 2019 and since then has worked hard to provide an alternate product to what fans see in WWE. For the most part, they have succeeded, but there is still a lot of room for improvement.
The company has signed numerous top talents in the past year or so, including the likes of CM Punk, Adam Cole, Bryan Danielson, Malakai Black and many others. The company also shows no signs of stopping when it comes to signing more talents.
AEW’s latest acquisition is the highly popular internet sensation Danhausen. While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Tony Khan talked about signing Danhausen. Khan stated that he is willing to make signings that will get fans excited.
“I really love listening to the wrestling fans, I love wrestling myself, and I am a fan. I believe that the fans give us the direction. It is up to us to give great shows that the people want to see. I don’t want it to be handed down on high, for me anytime we can sign somebody that’s going to make the fans excited. That is going to come in here and give the fans big matches that they’re excited to watch, and somebody that can bring new fans to AEW, it’s a great opportunity for us. So, I will continue to explore the free-agent market and the forbidden door will be opening again soon.”
A top free agent is also set to make their debut on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. We will have to wait and see who will end up debuting in AEW by walking through the Forbidden Door as many fans believe it could be Samoa Joe, Keith Lee, Josh Alexander among others.
