Nick Gage had one hell of a 2021. The deathmatch fanatic took on AEW star Chris Jericho in a brutal No Rules match. He competed against the likes of John Moxley and Matt Cardona.

It appears that Gage will be staying with longtime promotion Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) for years to come. The 41-year-old recently resigned with the promotion.

Fightful Select reported that the parties concerned have agreed to a multi-year contract. The new deal allows Gage to work less matches, while keeping him an integral part of GCW.

Gage and Matt Tremont captured the GCW Tag Team titles from The Briscoes at last month’s The Wrld on GCW PPV event, which marked the promotion’s debut at the Hammerstein Ballroom.

Gage is widely regarded as the face of GCW, having held their top title for a record 722 days during his first reign as the champion. GCW have been teasing a Moxley vs. Gage rematch for the title for some time now.
