Brandi Rhodes is the wife of AEW EVP Cody Rhodes and in the early stages of the company, she was one of the mainstays of the women’s division. Eventually, she took a more reserved role.

She is also the Chief Brand Officer of AEW and lately has been competing in matches since making her return to AEW television. Rhodes has largely been feuding with Dan Lambert, a feud that began last month where she even named-dropped Paul Heyman.

Rhodes once again had a promo battle with Dan Lambert, where Lambert had the edge as fans simply didn’t want to see Brandi Rhodes in any capacity. While speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Brandi Rhodes revealed that she wants to win a title as she has yet to win one despite wrestling for a decade now.

“I like to continue to evolve. I was just having this conversation with my husband, and I told him I don’t think I’m ever going to reach a point where I’m not striving for more. I am very driven, and I’ve always been. That was instilled in me by my parents, and that’s who I am.

There is a lot more I’m seeking to accomplish. I have been in the wrestling business for about 10 years, and I’ve never held a championship. I don’t want it handed to me. I want to earn it, and I’m putting in the work to do that.”

Fans continue to make it clear that they don’t want to see her on AEW television. Regardless, Brandi Rhodes is here to stay and fans will simply have to accept that as a fact.
