Asuka Trends After Mystery Slot Was Revealed For Elimination Chamber Match

Asuka hasn’t competed competed in a WWE ring in months. The two-time RAW Women’s Champion has been out of action due to an injury she suffered in July of last year.

The Japan native was heavily rumored to be in the Royal Rumble match. WWE even had plans to bring in both her and Kairi Sane for the women’s rumble match but ultimately decided against it.

Asuka is once again trending on Twitter. This comes ahead of the upcoming Elimination Chamber PPV event in Saudi Arabia. WWE have already revealed five of the six participants for the women’s chamber match.

Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Doudrop, Nikki A.S.H and Rhea Ripley have so far been announced for the match. The company hasn’t lifted the curtain on the mystery opponent as of yet.

Fans are expecting the mystery opponent to be either Asuka or Bayley. Dave Meltzer recently reported that both Asuka and Bayley are expected to return to WWE programming in time for WrestleMania 38.
