Velveteen Dream was one of the mainstays on Triple H’s version of NXT. Dream had memorable feuds and matches with the likes of Aleister Black, Ricochet and Adam Cole. He was eventually released after he couldn’t appear on television without #FireVelveteenDream going absolutely viral.

Unfortunately, his hopes of making it to the main roster came crashing down when WWE released him in the wake of several allegations made against him. Dream vehemently denies the allegations.

The 26-year-old shed light on the accusations during an appearance on the Dishing Drama podcast. He revealed WWE had planned an interesting gimmick for him.

“Just so you know, WWE definitely considered bringing me in with a mask and having me not speak,“ he told podcast host Dana Wilkey.

Dream previously revealed WWE didn’t want him to say a word about the accusations against him. The former NXT North American Champion has yet to make his return to the circle.
