Tony Khan is never shy about teasing a big debut. With a ton of big-name free agents recently becoming available, Khan has taken advantage of the hype by teasing a huge new signing for Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite. Fans have hopped on the bandwagon and some of the speculation has been pretty wild.

Keith Lee, Karrion Kross, Athena (Ember Moon), and several other well-known wrestlers have reached the end of their 90-day WWE non-compete clauses. There are also great former Ring of Honor talents who are looking for new homes. Khan has promised that something big is coming next Wednesday.

Khan has teased that Isiah Kassidy will face a new signing on Dynamite. The two will fight for a spot in the Face of the Revolution ladder match with a TNT Championship shot at stake. Tony noted that the new wrestler will walk through the “forbidden door,” sign a contract and then slam the door shut. Fans have been trying to guess the identity of the mystery wrestler ever since.

“Since the emphasis is on the “forbidden door” i assume it would be someone from NJPW or Impact. I put my money on Will Ospreay”

“What does jeff hardy have to do with the forbidden door. You wrong. You saw it here first”

“Still a weird phrasing for a free agent and a person walking though the forbidden door to be the same guy. To walk through the forbidden door, it means that the wrestler is currently still signed with another company.”

“I think it’s either Keith or Kross. But since he said forbidden door, it may be jeff hardy. I’d love it to be ali . But that won’t happen.”

AEW fans will have to tune in to Dynamite on Wednesday to find out who the new signing is. There are several reasonable options out of a laundry list of high-end free agents. Wrestling fans are letting their imaginations run wild this time, though.
