AEW Rampage Airing Early Later This Month Due To NBA Game

AEW Rampage usually airs every Friday at 10:00 PM, but pro wrestling programming is no stranger to preemption and moving their times around due to other sporting events. This is another instance of that happening.

According to PW Insider, the February 18 edition of AEW Rampage will air earlier than normal. That week they will air the show at 7:00 PM EST.

The NBA’s coverage starts at 9:00 PM that night and they need to make room for that programming. AEW television might bring in a dedicated fan base, but it is nothing compared to the guaranteed advertising money associated with the NBA.

TNT is still hosting the show, but they will need to alter the air time. This will give fans a rare week where AEW Rampage is lead-in for WWE SmackDown.
