Ronda Rousey made her return to WWE at last weekend’s Royal Rumble. The former UFC champion made an immediate impact as she eliminated Charlotte Flair to set up a huge WrestleMania title match. Rousey had been out of action for quite some time as she started a family.

Many fans commented that Ronda had considerable ring rust in the women’s Royal Rumble match. That’s to be expected since she hasn’t competed in so long. That doesn’t mean Ronda Rousey didn’t train for the comeback, though.

WWE sent a ring to Ronda’s home so that she could train privately. It was reported that Ember Moon helped Rousey significantly in her preparation. In this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that Rousey was sent her very own ring to get ready with.

“WWE had sent a ring to Rousey’s home which is where she had been training. She also had been in Orlando training at least one point”

It is not known if Ronda Rousey has returned the ring or will continue to use it to train at home. The Rowdy one’s stay with WWE is expected to last about a year. That would mean a huge match with Charlotte Flair at this year’s WrestleMania and one more for the road next year.

Fans are hoping Rousey can regain her old form. Ronda shocked wrestling fans with her natural inclination towards the sport during her first run. The WWE Universe has their fingers crossed for more epic matches from Ronda Rousey to come.
