The Viper has been paired up with Matt Riddle for the past several months and remained one of the highlights of Monday Night RAW. They have also gotten closer in real life.
It is a known fact that Vince McMahon is not a fan of tag team wrestling whatsoever and the results have shown over the years. While speaking on Mark Andrews: My Love Letter To Wrestling, Matt Riddle revealed that Vince McMahon stopped Team RK-Bro from breaking up on the first day they teamed up together.
“Teaming with Randy Orton, it was supposed to be one time. He was supposed to turn on me on night one. Then Vince, the crowd, and everybody liked it so much, they were like, ‘Are you guys willing to see if this works?’ I was like, ‘Yeah.’ We liked working with each other. We were friendly. Randy was gone for like three months and I just kept the team afloat, always talking about Randy. I was always talking about Randy and they were like, ‘He’ll be back soon.’ I had no idea when he was coming back,
Randy Orton and Matt Riddle are currently feuding with The Alpha Academy as Team RK-Bro is determined to gain back the RAW Tag Team Championships, which they lost to Alpha Academy earlier this month. It remains to be seen if they will split up or not.
