Roman Reigns was on a roll since his return to the company back at WWE SummerSlam in 2020. He returned as the Tribal Chief and truly reinvented himself. The change was several years in the making as fans clamored for it for so long

The Head of the Table has certainly been very dominant as the WWE Universal Champion as he has remained the champion for well over a year now. It is unlikely he will be losing the title anytime soon from the looks of it. He has competed against several top WWE Superstars throughout that time.

Paul Heyman betrayed Brock Lesnar at the WWE Royal Rumble event, costing him the WWE Championship against Bobby Lashley as he aligned himself to Roman Reigns again.

While speaking on his Drive Thru, Jim Cornette talked about Paul Heyman betraying Brock Lesnar and getting back with Roman Reigns again. Heyman blasted the company for milking Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar’s storyline, stating that the reunion did not look natural whatsoever.

“As it was the referee was down for a very long time, everybody was standing around, looking at each other telegraphing this thing and when it happened, suddenly then the referee is fine, right at that exact moment. You can do this quicker with less milking, Vince has always loved s*** to be milked.

But you could do it, the people really would not miss it, they would understand it but it would look more something that was naturally unfolding and not a dramatic reading of Shakespeare.”

Brock Lesnar will be challenging Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 38. It remains to be seen how their feud will be booked in the coming weeks.
