Christian made his return during the Royal Rumble match last year after a seven-year-long hiatus from the squared circle. However, he was not seen on WWE television after that. Ultimately, Christian chose to go to AEW as he came to be known as Christian Cage.

Since then, Cage became one of the mainstays of AEW and also Impact Wrestling when the two companies still worked together. Christian Cage’s motto in AEW is a simple one as he is always determined to outwork everyone in the pro wrestling world and he succeeded in that.

Christian Cage has recently pulled off an incredible achievement that is unlikely to be replicated for a long time. Christian Cage has competed in the main event of three pay-per-views for three different wrestling companies within the same year.

In the one year anniversary since his return to professional wrestling, Christian looked back on what was certainly an incredible year for him. Cage also stated that AEW is the home for the rest of his career.

1 yr ago today I took my career back. Man, 2021 was wild, I was involved in 3 PPV main events for 3 different companies & had some special moments. That being said, @AEW is my home for the rest of my career. So what do I want in 2022? The world, Chico, and everything in it.

Christian Cage is currently teaming up with the Jurassic Express and has been serving as a mentor for them as well. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Christian Cage.
