Ronda Rousey debuted in WWE at the end of the 2018 edition of the Royal Rumble after transitioning from the UFC. She would go on to win the WWE RAW Women’s Championship and held it for half a year. It seems Rousey will be back as a full-time WWE Superstar.
Rousey was last seen at WrestleMania 35 and has been absent from WWE television since then. Since then, several fans started wondering if Rousey would even come back to WWE.
As reported earlier, WWE is pushing for Ronda Rousey to make her return during this year’s Royal Rumble event. On top of that, Ronda Rousey could be winning the Women’s Royal Rumble match as well.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Ronda Rousey will be back as a full-time WWE Superstar on Friday Night Smackdown.
“She’s back. She’s going to be back as a regular on SmackDown. But she’ll probably do some Raw shows. I think she will be on Raw on Monday. That’s kind of what has been hinted at to me.
As reported earlier, the company also has huge WrestleMania 38 plans for Ronda Rousey, which could see her finally square off against Becky Lynch in a singles match. It remains to be seen how Rousey will be booked once she returns during the Royal Rumble event.
