Cody Rhodes Teases WWE Royal Rumble Appearance

Cody Rhodes is one of the mainstays of AEW television and an integral part of the company behind the scenes as well. Rhodes has certainly honed his craft over the years in numerous ways. His recent AEW contract status as a free agent has also opened up a new possibility as the Royal Rumble approaches.

For the past few months, Cody Rhodes has been on the receiving end of a lot of hate from fans. Fans showered boos on him during every appearance and called for him to turn heel. This teaser could be a heel move, but then again, CM Punk did the same thing too.

As reported earlier, it was said that Cody Rhodes is apparently working as a free agent as his contract with AEW had retired last year. Cody Rhodes himself confirmed his free agency status.

Cody Rhodes recently took to his Instagram stories and revealed that he is flying to St. Louis, Missouri, where the Royal Rumble will be taking place. He hinted at appearing during the event with his story.

CM Punk also recently trolled fans regarding an appearance at the Royal Rumble match. We will have to wait and see how many surprises will be in store for the Royal Rumble event as fans simply cannot wait for the Royal Rumble.
