There is no doubt that Jeff Hardy is one of the most popular and believed Superstars in WWE’s history. He has won multiple titles in his career and been part of many incredible WWE moments. It seems WWE doesn’t want him to go to AEW.

Despite that, he was released from WWE last year. In addition to that, Jeff Hardy even turned down rehab prior to his firing. News of his release has truly shocked the pro wrestling world to its core and many people reacted to it.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE really does not want Jeff Hardy to go to AEW. However, the belief is that Hardy will make his way to AEW in the end.

There is a feeling right now that this is one guy they don’t want in AEW because of the realization the Hardy Boys will be revitalized as an act given the level of teams like the Young Bucks, FTR, Santana & Ortiz, Penta & Fenix and so many others. Hardy is still under contract with WWE through 3/9 so AEW can’t make a legal offer to him, but the belief is that unless he goes back to WWE, which at this point doesn’t look like it will happen, he would be AEW bound

We will have to wait and see whether Jeff Hardy will make his way to AEW and join his brother or not. Jim Cornette recently said that it would be ridiculous for AEW to sign Jeff Hardy. We will have to wait and see what Jeff Hardy will do in the end.
