Jeff Hardy is doing things completely on his terms these days. The Charismatic Enigma recently walked out on WWE in the middle of a match. Hardy was released soon after. After much concern from fans, it seems like Jeff simply wants to do his own thing. The Hardys have even announced a return to the ring as a team and are going on tour.

Fans have been hoping to see Jeff Hardy reunite with his brother Matt in AEW for one last big national run as a tag team. Matt Hardy has hinted at doing just that. The Hardy Boyz also have independent dates booked where they’re scheduled to wrestle together.

WWE has recently been making big moves to try and bring Jeff Hardy back into the fold. News broke earlier this morning that Hardy even rejected an offer to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Jeff has been steadfast and clear in his desire for independence. Hardy fans had his name trending on Twitter as they stood by one of their favorite wrestling stars.

“See that’s the problem. WWE always pushes people to that legend role or HOF role when they aren’t done yet. That’s always the problem and Jeff Hardy ain’t done yet. Him and Matt gotta take the AEW Tag championships.”

“Proud of Jeff Hardy. Doesn’t need to be in the HOF. I literally sat and watched a compilation of his for a good 20 minutes last night absolutely fried. Couldn’t touch the remote. Work speaks for itself lol fuck Vince and the WWE. Know your worth”

“In terms of titles, Jeff Hardy has earned a solo spot in the HOF. But he started his career with his brother (he was under a different name when he wrestled Razor) so I imagine that’s how he wants to end it. Sorry but you can’t fault the man for that.”

Fans are clearly behind Jeff Hardy in his stance against WWE. Hardy was itching for his independence, and he reclaimed it. We’ll see what’s next for Jeff, but it won’t be WWE.
