AEW took the world by storm back in 2019 as it was the first pro wrestling company in a very long time that made waves in the pro wrestling world as a form of competition for WWE. It was certainly a risky endeavor as well because there was always the chance it was going to end up being a huge failure. It seems Lita has an interesting take on AEW’s women’s division as well.

AEW has been receiving a lot of praise for its variety of pro wrestling. However, nothing is perfect as the women’s division has left a lot to be desired and has been criticized on a constant basis.

While the women’s division has certainly improved over the past year, there is still a lot of room for improvement. Britt Baker was largely seen as the face of the women’s division and still remains as such, being the AEW Women’s Champion.

While speaking on the Hall of Fame podcast, Lita talked about the current state of the AEW women’s division. Lita admitted that the division is improving and is no longer a one-woman show like it used to be.

“I think they are finally starting to add and strengthen that roster because I think for a while it was a one-person show. It was like a Britt Baker show for quite a bit there, and now they are like, ‘oh wait, we can’t just throw Nyla Rose or Ruby Soho to the wayside, you have to build everyone and keep it going.'”

We will have to see how the company will be able to improve the women’s division and make it comparable to the men’s division. For many fans, the introduction of the TBS Title is a step in the right direction but a lot of work still needs to be done.
