Hangman Page To Defend AEW Title In Texas Death Match

AEW Dynamite has been exploding in terms of key demographic ratings lately, and it seems like they have no plans of slowing down. Now, AEW has announced a Texas Death Match coming up in two weeks on February 9th.

In an interview during tonight’s Dynamite, Lance Archer and Jake Roberts talked about the former facing Hangman Page in a Texas Death Match. While Archer’s challenge took Hangman by surprise, he still rose to the challenge.

Archer and Hangman Page have been feuding for a couple of weeks, ever since Dan Lambert confronted Page. It was later revealed that Roberts, Lambert, and Archer have formed an alliance.

Page, of course, is the current AEW World Champion, ever since he beat Bryan Danielson for the title on the January 5th edition of Dynamite. The upcoming battle will surely be one hell of a fight.
