Randy Orton Thinks Fans Let Him Off Easy When He Breaks Character

Randy Orton’s contributions to WWE cannot be understated as he has been one of the mainstays of the company for almost twenty years now. After a very rocky start, Orton went on to solidify himself as one of the greatest Superstars in the company’s history. It seems he has an interesting take on his character as well.

Randy Orton has gained a lot of fanfare thanks to being very laidback when it comes to his character over the past few years. This has also been reflected in his social media posts.

Orton has also corpsed often in his career and broke character in the most hilarious of ways. While speaking on The Ringer Wrestling Show, Randy Orton talked about his current program with Matt Riddle and the Alpha Academy. Orton also stated that he believes fans let him off easy when he breaks character.

”If I crack a smile and break the fourth wall or whatever, you can tell I’m having fun at this point in my career, I feel like it draws you in more because I was so against letting people in before. Now, I can still do that, but I’ve been around long enough to where, I get let off easy when I break character or when I do things that maybe a babyface wouldn’t do.”

He is currently one half of the RAW Tag Team Champions with Matt Riddle and is having a great time teaming up with Riddle. We will have to wait and see how RK-Bro’s feud with Alpha Academy will progress.
