Braun Strowman’s release from WWE earlier last year truly shocked the pro wrestling world to its core. He was one of the major stars in the company. It seems he defended himself yet again.

During the start of the COVID-19 pandemic back in 2020, Braun Strowman said that if indie wrestlers are out of work and broke, then they need to find other professions. Naturally, it caused a lot of controversy.

While speaking with CBS Sports’ Shakiel Mahjouri, Braun Strowman talked about his controversial comments and admitted they have argued like milk. Strowman then decided his comments and claimed that they were meant to be motivational.

I made that comment months before the lockdown, (…) Of course, everybody ran wild with it and tried to make more out of it than it really was (…) At the end of the day, it was motivational (…) Sometimes in life your goals and what you dream about, you can’t do

The Monster Among Men was also recently confirmed to compete in a huge pay-per-view in Dubai. It remains to be seen what is next in store for Strowman’s pro wrestling career.
