Jon Moxley made his debut at AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 and became one of the mainstays of the company since then. He is also confident when it comes to AEW getting more fans due to its diverse product. It seems Moxley got blasted recently as well.
After almost three months away from the squared circle, the former AEW World Champion made his return during this last episode of AEW Dynamite. Moxley cut a passionate promo where he talked about conquering his demons and encouraged fans to do the same.
During the very early stages of his promo, Jon Moxley also dropped the f-bomb on a fan who yelled a very rude comment at him. Moxley replied by saying, “Go f*** yourself! Get that guy out of here, piece of s***”
While speaking on The Jim Cornette Experience podcast, Jim Cornette talked about Jon Moxley cussing during his return. Cornette stated that due to Moxley cursing on live television, he might have upset the TNT or TBS network.
“Well, nobody was thinking the first words out of Moxley’s mouth was gonna be f**k and sh*t. If you think that TNT or TBS like that, you’re out of your goddamn mind. “This is not some boys club that Tony hangs out with all the programmers, and they play scrabble. They really are not that friendly. Somebody sooner or later high up in an organization is gonna actually watch this program and see something like this.”
AEW edited out Jon Moxley’s f-bomb from Dynamite replays as well. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Jon Moxley now that he is back on AEW television.
