Jeff Hardy remains one of the most respected and beloved pro wrestlers in the history of WWE. Since his return in 2017, he was one of the mainstays of the company and competed in various feuds.
Unfortunately, he was recently released from WWE. To add to that, Jeff Hardy even turned down rehab prior to his firing. News of his release has truly shocked the pro wrestling world to its core and many people reacted to it.
Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy together formed The Hardy Boyz and are still regarded as one of the best tag teams in pro wrestling history. They are undoubtedly one of the most decorated tag teams in the business as they have won tag team gold in several companies.
While speaking on the Wrestling Perspective podcast, Matt Hardy talked about reuniting with his brother Jeff for their upcoming appearance at Big Time Wrestling on March 12. Matt Hardy stated that Jeff’s passion for professional wrestling has been renewed after this WWE release.
“When it comes to myself and Jeff teaming up, being the Hardy Boyz, it’s like riding a bike. You just get back on and start peddling. It’s business as usual. That’s one thing that is really cool. I’ve literally been there since this guy was born. We know each other inside and out and it’s going to be fun. Jeff’s excitement and passion for wrestling has been so renewed now that he has this new horizon in front of him. Very excited about that. Without going too much into detail, I’m very excited to where 2022 is going to take the Hardy Boyz. I feel it’s going to be a great year for Matt and Jeff.”
We will have to wait and see whether Jeff Hardy will make his way to AEW and join his brother or not. Jim Cornette recently said that it would be ridiculous for AEW to sign Jeff Hardy. We will have to wait and see what Jeff Hardy will do in the end.
