Drew McIntyre remains one of the top Superstars in WWE and certainly has a lot of passion for the pro wrestling business. He is a former two-time WWE Champion and was the face of the company during the pandemic era as the WWE Champion. He is also never afraid to give advice to his peers whenever needed.

Back in the 2020 Royal Rumble, Drew McIntyre went on to win the match as he toppled a dominant Brock Lesnar and booked his ticket to WrestleMania 36. McIntyre would go on to defeat Lesnar for the WWE Championship.

While speaking in an interview with Sean Sapp of Fightful, Drew McIntyre talked about winning the Royal Rumble match. McIntyre revealed that his mind was blown when he learned that he would win the match.

“I mean, I was just hoping for a big moment that day. And when I got the idea that I might eliminate Brock, considering what I heard the story was going to be and how dominant he was going to be in the Rumble as WWE Champion, I was like man, that’s pretty cool. That is the kind of thing that can make somebody. But then the idea that I would win as well, it blew my mind, and I didn’t really believe it was going to happen until I was the last person standing in the ring.”
