Britt Baker has made a name for herself as one of the top stars in All Elite Wrestling. Britt joined the company as an independent wrestler who was a major work in progress. Baker’s improvement since debuting with the company has made her a huge fan favorite despite being cast as a heel. Britt’s Lights Out match with Thunder Rosa really put her on the map.

Baker was a bloody mess after the bout with Rosa. It was the moment where many people, including CM Punk, realized that Britt was one of the pillars of AEW. The match was the career-defining moment Tony Khan was hoping for. An action figure was even made to commemorate the iconic scene.

When Britt came into the back after the match, Khan was there to greet her. Britt described the scene in a recent episode of My Mom’s Basement. Baker also let it slip that Tony Khan has a serious aversion to germs.

“He does not like germs. He’ll give the fist bump, not a really big hand shaker guy, has his hand sanitizer with him all the time. Smart, right? Smart. After the Lights Out Match with Thunder Rosa, I’m covered in blood, like dripping blood, sweat, gross.

He came up to me and gave me the biggest hug ever. And he’s like a germaphobe, so I’m like, ‘Oh, this must’ve been pretty good if Tony is hugging me right now because I’m disgusting.’ So that was cool.”

Tony Khan must really hate working during a pandemic. Despite his germaphobia, Khan was so proud of Britt Baker that he overcame it. Dr. Baker has not looked back since.
