Paige Defends AJ Lee’s Accomplishments Against Hater

Paige has been a non-wrestling figure for WWE ever since injuries forced her to retire from in-ring competition in 2018. Paige eventually became the general manager of SmackDown and hosted WWE Backstage. The superstar hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since the start of the COVID pandemic.

Paige also has a huge base of fans who continue to support her on social media and via her Twitch channel. The former Diva’s Champion is never afraid to share her opinions. Paige recently joined Renee Paquette and fans in dragging Bully Ray’s bad take on Jon Moxley’s AEW return.

Paige recently defended another one of her former WWE counterparts. A fan was attempting to trash Paige by saying she wasn’t as good as AJ Lee. Another follower asked that fan to name a memorable moment in her career. Paige was happy to oblige on their behalf.

“She had a lot of memorable moments. – Pipe Bombshell – longest reigning divas champion – being one of the front runners of the divas revolution. To name just a few. I appreciate you sticking up for me. But she did a lot for the womens division! & deserves her roses”

AJ Lee remains a popular figure in wrestling circles to this day. She has gone on to more creative pursuits outside of the ring. AJ has worked on comic books and even wrote her own biography in 2017.

Paige and AJ Lee were great rivals in WWE. The British superstar even defeated Lee for the championship on her first night. Paige isn’t about to let fans disrespect somebody that she obviously has a deep appreciation for.
