Kurt Angle Says Hook Is Already A Sensation

Hook, who is the son of AEW commentator and former ECW and WWE star Taz, has been featured on AEW television as the silent enforcer of Team Taz. Many fans never thought he would ever wrestle. It seems Kurt Angle has a high opinion of Hook as well.

Hook impressed many fans in his in-ring debut. His debut did massive numbers on social media and racked up larger numbers than even Bron Breakker’s did. AEW held off his debut for a good reason as well.

Since then he has competed in three more matches and has performed well in all of them. He was especially dominant during last week’s episode of AEW Rampage, where he made short work of Serpentico.

While speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle talked about Hook’s run in AEW so far. Angle gave Hoko huge props and stated that he believes Hook will be a big star in the company.

“He’s making a huge impact in wrestling right now. This kid is awesome. He’s going to be a big star, he definitely is. I hear he’s got one of the top selling t-shirts for Pro Wrestling Tees which is unbelievable. Kid only had four matches in AEW and he’s already a sensation.”

We will have to wait and see what the company has in store for Hook as AEW is certainly grooming Hook for bigger things in the future from the looks of it.
