Before debuting on Monday Night RAW last year, Doudrop was known as Piper Niven on NXT UK. Many fans expected her to have the same name on the main roster, but that wasn’t the case.

Doudrop also believed her name change was only temporary at first. Now that Eva Marie is no longer in WWE, many fans simply want the company to get rid of the Doudrop gimmick for good.

WWE also turned Doudrop heel, which fans are still warming up to at this point in time. Doudrop also squared off against Bianca Belair in three consecutive matches on Monday Night RAW, all of which were won by Belair.

While speaking with Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT, Doudrop commented on facing Bianca Belair in three consecutive matches and made it clear she doubts it was always the plan.

“That lassie (Bianca) hits like a train [laughs]. I’m used to being the bigger person in a match but phwoar… Is that what I’ve been doing to people all these years?! The landscape is always evolving and changing and you may feel like ‘OK, this is the way that we’re going’ but then because of X,Y, Z, things change and I don’t think it was anybody’s plan to put Bianca and Doudrop in a best of three, but we went out there and ‘somebody’ must have really liked it because they we did it again and again!”

Doudrop earned a shot for Becky Lynch’s RAW Women’s Championship and will challenge Lync for the title at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 29th.
