Adam Page found his success with fans organically thanks to his relatable character work and excellent in-ring skills. He is also part of one of the most compelling storylines in AEW thanks to his storyline with Kenny Omega. It seems a pro wrestling veteran isn’t a fan of Adam Page as a champion.
In a culmination of a multi-year-long storyline, Adam Page finally defeated Kenny Omega to win the AEW World Championship – a promise he had made years prior. His organic growth has certainly helped him become a lovable babyface as well.
Since then he has competed in two highly lauded matches against Bryan Danielson, where he even went on to retain his title against Danielson in their most recent bout.
With the concept of the Forbidden Door being one of the major talking points during this year’s Royal Rumble event, many fans have been wondering which talents from other companies will make their way to the Royal Rumble.
While speaking to Good Morning Washington, Adam Page said that while he is unlikely to compete in the Royal Rumble match, he also asked fans not to rule him out entirely.
“Erm, no, probably won’t be in the Royal Rumble. Don’t rule me out, but probably not. I like to keep my Saturdays open to be with family instead.”
While it is unlikely Adam Page will find himself in the Royal Rumble match this year, anything is possible in the world of professional wrestling and fans might see Page in the match somewhere down the line.
